                              Cultural

Hello wonderful bloggers today I will be blogging me and my                                families cultural background.

I was born in New Zealand at the Auckland Hospital and I am eleven years old. I have two sisters but no brothers. I have a older sister and she is 17 I also have a little sister and she is only one years old. I am half Cook island and half Fijian. My Dad comes from Fiji and my Mum comes from the Cook islands. My Mum was born in New Zealand and my Dad was born in Fiji. Sometimes we celebrate things that are part of my parents culture that other people might not do.

Blog you later.

Thank you for doing week one, day one, activity two. It was cool to hear a little bit about your family and where they come from! I really enjoyed reading it :) It must be cool to have an older sister as well as a younger sister! I’m an only child but have always wanted a sister.

I'm really interested to know more about your family and cultural background - what particular things do you celebrate together? What language(s) do you speak?

I am Pākehā but my dad’s family comes from England and my Mum’s family comes from Scotland and Canada, which is pretty cool because it means I can go and live in all of these countries if I want to! My family is quite small and live in many different places, but I have a lot of friends and family friends who are like family to me. The most important thing about my family is that we are really open and honest and have great communication, my parents are also really loving towards me :)

I only speak English but I would love to learn Te Reo Maori and Spanish.

Thanks for posting! I look forward to reading more of your posts over the summer :)
    Eliza :)
